We are delighted to advise that Macdonald Henderson has been shortlisted for “Corporate Team of the Year” at The Herald Law Awards of Scotland 2023.
This nomination follows recent successes for the Macdonald Henderson team:
- completion of over 25 disclosable acquisition, disposal and fundraising deals this year (Q1 – Q3, January – September 2023) featuring milestone transactions in key industry sectors such as financial services, engineering, and technology, including:
- Merger of Opulus Financial and Wylie & Bisset, and raising of £10 million growth capital facility by SME Capital;
- Rockpool Investment’s multi-million pounds partnership with Realise Energy Services (co-advising with Stephenson Harwood);
- JWF Process Solutions on a buy-in by Nevis Capital;
- JP Mackie pharmacy group on a refinance by Unity Trust Bank;
- Electric Heating Company, on a buy-in by Foresight Group; and
- (Co-advising with PwC & Freshfields) on the acquisition of Clan Campbell Blended Scotch Whisky brand from Pernod Ricard.
