Ian is a Director in the Commercial Property Team.
Having trained with Dundas & Wilson (now CMS), Ian joined the firm as a Director in 2007. He has extensive experience advising clients on the acquisition and disposal of commercial property, as well as a broad range of landlord and tenant matters.
Ian also acts for a number of high street banks in connection with commercial security work and advises insolvency practitioners on the sale and disposal of distressed assets.
As part of a three-lawyer team recognised as Scottish Commercial Property Legal Team of the Year, Ian has built a reputation for delivering commercially focused, pragmatic advice. Clients value his approachable manner, depth of experience and ability to provide clear, practical solutions to complex property matters.
