Peter McEwan
Associate Director, Private Client

Peter is an Associate Director and Notary Public in our Private Client department.

He advises individuals and families on a range of issues including Wills, Powers of Attorney, asset protection, setting up and managing of trusts, executries, and inheritance tax planning.

Peter attended Aberdeen University and graduated in 2016, and thereafter gained his Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of Glasgow in 2017. He worked for another Glasgow based firm until moving to Macdonald Henderson in October 2021.

Peter is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and also a Private Client Tutor at the University of Strathclyde.

Additionally, Peter is a member of the Tax Law sub-committee at the Law Society of Scotland.
