One of the most enjoyable aspects of being an advisor is sharing (and learning about) real business experiences, and it’s great to see in person conferences and forums starting up again.
Our Head of Corporate David Beveridge was delighted to attend and present on “Succession Planning In Practice” alongside Mr Brian Toward of Wholesale Domestic at The Scottish Family Business Conference 2022, on Thursday, 28th April 2022, in Glasgow.
Brian is the CEO of Wholesale Domestic Bathrooms, the second generation of the family to led the business following the transition of the business from the founding generation.
The deal completed in early 2021, and together David and Brian shared their insights on the succession process in practice.

Hot on the heels of the Scottish Family Business conference in the morning, David then travelled to magnificent Mar Hall (just outside Glasgow), to join & present at the Corporate Finance Network’s Annual Conference 2022 in the afternoon.
David was delighted to speak to the UK- wide corporate finance member firms, on the importance of heads of agreement & negotiation skills respectively.
