We are proud to note that Target Healthcare’s acquisition of the UK Specials and Aseptics compounding business from Clinigen PLC, (the global pharmaceutical products and services company) has been named Transformational Deal of the Year at the Deal and Dealmaker Awards 2022.
Macdonald Henderson advised Target Healthcare on the (up to) £7.75m deal (co-advising with N4 Advisory).
Target Healthcare is a highly reputable Scottish headquartered manufacturer and wholesaler, supplying generic, branded, and unlicensed medicines to Pharmacies, Dispensing Doctors, Hospitals, Pharmaceutical Wholesalers and Buying Groups throughout the UK and Worldwide.
Target Healthcare is led by Lewis Campbell, with their Head Office based in East Kilbride, and specials manufacturing site based in Luton, Bedfordshire.
The business was been part of Clinigen since it acquired Quantum Pharmaceuticals in 2017. The acquisition included the transfer of two UK facilities in Burnopfield and Follingsby, and 203 UK-based employees.
