Advising leading Scottish technology company on a fundraising comprising (i) £4m venture debt facility and (ii) issue of (up to) £10m convertible loan notes, to position the group for future growth;

Co-advising with Stephenson Harwood on the Scottish legal elements of an eight-figure investment by London based private equity firm, Rockpool, in 2i (the software testing and quality assurance specialist with offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and London) whose clients include the Home Office, Virgin Money, Abrdn and the Scottish Government’s Social Security Directorate;

Advising  Scottish creative agency Tayburn on its acquisition by rival firm Lewis, in a six-figure cash and equity deal that will bring together the agencies’ branding, packaging, design, and digital services;

Advising a well-established Scottish mechanical, electrical and public health building services engineering business on an MBO;

Advising on the MBO of a Scottish forest inventory and engineering business, based in Argyllshire;

Advising a market leading Scottish property factoring company on a shareholding restructure;

Advising growing Scottish Central Belt full service accountancy practice on the acquisition of a local accountancy practice;

Assisting a landscape and design company in the drafting and preparation of a services agreement for a new design project;

Advising a Scottish medical practice on retirement arrangements in respect of their partnership agreement;

Assisting a training development company in negotiating a master services agreement with a client for a new project;

Advising a charity theatre group in relation in relation to various queries in respect of payments to service providers;

Assisting a company in the e-commerce industry with updating their style contract of employment and contract for services;

Acting for well-established packaging business in the negotiation and completion of servitude and wayleave documentation in relation to services for their site in the Scottish Central Belt;

Advising UK wide fuel supply company in security documentation relating to several of their sites;

Advising substantial Scottish accountancy group, on acquisition of new office premises in two sites in the Scottish central belt.
