On Friday 25th October 2024, our Managing Director David Beveridge joined 13 of the city’s ‘most wanted’ businesspeople going before (real life) Sheriff Alayne Swanson before being locked up at a secret location in the city with nothing but his mobile and laptop.
David’s crime – growing an outrageous ginger beard, despite the pleadings and protestations of his nearest and dearest. His challenge was to raise bail to support Maggie’s and secure his freedom.
The beard has gone, but not the good memories or new friendships. ⚖️No bars, judges or prison guards on this occasion, just a pizza party to celebrate the success of this year’s Maggie’s Glasgow Jail or Bail 2024.
