Olivia Russell
Trainee Solicitor
Olivia is a Trainee Solicitor in both the Corporate Team and Residential Conveyancing Team.
She graduated with an Honours degree from the University of Glasgow in 2024 before completing her Master of Laws and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Strathclyde in early 2026.
Olivia joined the firm in 2024 as an Administrative Assistant and has worked closely with both the Corporate and Residential Conveyancing teams throughout her time at Macdonald Henderson. Having gained experience across the firm’s City Centre and West End offices, she has developed a strong understanding of the firm’s client-focused approach and enjoys being part of the wider team.
Outside of work, Olivia is a qualified Pilates instructor and enjoys helping others discover the benefits of the Pilates method.

- Assisted in advising a Scottish family investment company on amendments to its constitution to protect generational family interests;
- Assisted in advising a Scottish care provider on the drawdown of funding in connection with multiple property acquisitions;
- Assisted in advising a Scottish family-owned business operating in the interior design and packaging sectors on the implementation of a growth share scheme and adoption of a new shareholders’ agreement; and
- Assisted on a range of residential conveyancing transactions for private clients across Scotland.
