The Macdonald Henderson team hosted a Bake-Off/Macmillan coffee morning this (Friday) morning (accompanied by filled morning rolls for the traditionalists).
Wonderful donations of home baking were created by the MH team, and after a fierce judging session (led by Callum “Hollywood” McInnes), winner(s) were duly pronounced (Laura McKnight’s carrot cake narrowly pipping Emily Hencher’s triple chocolate brownies to the first prize).
More importantly, generous donations were raised by the team and also by way of kind online donations – and Macdonald Henderson matched the total, £ for £ – to reach a terrific final sum.
A lovely end to the week and a chance to raise funds for a cause particularly close to our hearts right now.
