Macdonald Henderson is pleased to announce a raft of appointments and promotions to its award- winning legal team.
Sarah Sheldon has been appointed as head of the Residential Conveyancing Team. Sarah has over 20 years’ experience working with boutique and high street law firms and has a broad range of expertise, including Residential Conveyancing, Complex Conveyancing, Rural & Agricultural Law and Private Client. Sarah prides herself in providing a well-rounded, practical and professional service to clients.
Emily Glen-Hencher has been appointed as a solicitor to the Corporate Team having completed a successful traineeship with the firm. Emily advises on corporate and commercial matters including acquisitions, disposals, management buyouts and other internal restructures, option schemes and general corporate governance matters. Emily recently represented Macdonald Henderson at the International Commercial Law Alliance Conference 2023 in Krakow, Poland.
Cameron Broome and Chris Wheeler have been appointed as trainees in the Corporate Team, each having carried out a (pre-traineeship) corporate analyst role with the firm. Chris and Cameron have already developed considerable expertise in mergers & acquisitions, private equity, banking, corporate governance and due diligence, earning client commendations along the way.
Katherine Phillips has been appointed as solicitor in the Commercial Property Team. Katherine advises on acquisitions and sales of commercial property; commercial leasing, for both landlords and tenants, and various other aspects of commercial property. With her personable and reliable style, combined with diligent and hardworking approach, Katherine enjoys building client relationships and looks forward to contributing to Macdonald Henderson’s service to clients.
Darya Burton has been appointed as a trainee in the Residential Property Team, having worked (pre-traineeship) as a conveyancing assistant with the firm. Whilst studying, Darya gained practical legal experience by completing pro bono work as a student advisor with the University of Strathclyde Law Clinic for five years.
