Macdonald Henderson was delighted to attend Glasgow Caledonian University’s first‑ever Law Careers Fair on Monday 2nd March, joining students and fellow legal professionals for an afternoon of conversation, curiosity and career exploration.
Emily Glen-Hencher and Cameron Broome (both MH-trained corporate lawyers) represented the firm on the day, and they were inspired by the enthusiasm and ambition of the students in attendance.
Emily and Cameron enjoyed sharing insights into corporate law and life at Macdonald Henderson as well as providing guidance on what to focus on when searching for a traineeship.
The fair, hosted by the GCU Law Clinic, welcomed a wide range of firms and provided students with the opportunity to ask questions, seek guidance and gain a clearer understanding of the pathways available to them in the legal sector.
GCU Law Clinic commented: “We truly appreciate the time and effort that was invested into this event, and we have received excellent feedback from our students.”
We are proud to support initiatives that empower the next generation of legal professionals. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with local universities and engaging with Scotland’s emerging talent in the years ahead.
