This year the theme for International Women’s Day is Give to Gain. At Macdonald Henderson we’ve been reflecting on what this means to us.
MH was historically a firm run entirely by women, and while we have expanded and developed since then, we continue to celebrate the brilliance of the women in our team.
Every day, this team shares in support, knowledge, and genuine respect, in a way that generates success and opportunities for us all. We all have a focus on “leaving the ladder down”, encouraging future women in law, and giving advice and support based on our own experiences as women operating in the legal sector.
As a firm, we are also considering ways in which we can give outside of our organisation, and this year we will be taking part in the Glasgow Kiltwalk to raise money for Women’s Aid South Lanarkshire and East Renfrewshire. (More on this soon!)
