Ryan Macready

Ryan graduated from Aberdeen and Edinburgh Universities and joined Macdonald Henderson’s corporate team in 2021.  Ryan had experience in litigation, private client, and property matters and completed an in-house secondment before specialising in corporate law upon qualification.

An important part of the Macdonald Henderson corporate team, Ryan works with a wide range of clients from small family businesses to multinational companies in respect of a variety of corporate and restructuring transactions and commercial contracts.  Ryan regularly advises clients on acquisitions and disposals, asset and share based restructuring, financial facilities and commercial contracts.  Ryan has particular experience in the acquisition and disposal of professional and financial services practices including in the accountancy, legal, and financial advisory sectors and also regularly advises clients in sport, technology, and construction.

Ryan is also a tutor on commercial contracts and intellectual property at the University of Strathclyde and a member of the board of trustees of Glasgow Triathlon Club.
